Dr. Will Tuttle will discuss the main ideas from his acclaimed book, The World Peace Diet: Eating For Spiritual Health And Social Harmony, which sheds new light not only on the underlying causes of war, injustice, and exploitation, but also offers valuable insights into precisely how we can each contribute to world peace and a benevolent revolution of consciousness in our culture.
His research and synthesis is based on a new understanding of the far-reaching implications of our food choices, as well as ancient wisdom teachings that have been suppressed in our culture. Besides offering an adventurous and provocative lecture, Dr. Tuttle will also offer some of the original uplifting and meditative piano music for which he is well known.
Dr. Tuttle, acclaimed educator, author, pianist, and composer, has lectured and performed widely throughout North America and Europe. His doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, focused on educating intuition in adults, and he has taught college courses in creativity, humanities, mythology, religion, and philosophy. He is a recipient of The Peace Abbey's Courage of Conscience Award and is a Dharma Master in the Zen tradition. Devoted to cultural healing and awakening, he has created seven much-loved CD albums of original piano music, and also his ground-breaking book, The World Peace Diet.
He is noted for his clear and inspiring presentations that often include original piano music as well as beautiful animal paintings by his spouse, Madeleine, a visionary artist from Switzerland. See www.worldpeacediet.org for more details.
A light vegan meal will be offered.
